Report of a great Event
£57,000 and counting !
Our third Sponsored Walk took place on Wednesday 27 January.  On a beautiful sunny day, ninety participants walked along the shore of the Sea of Galilee.
Our photograph shows the party at the  Greek church at Capernaum, where we sang (in Greek!) with the local priest.
We are very grateful to all who participated and to all who sponsored our walkers.  The amount raised currently stands at over £57,000 with donations still being received on a daily basis.  This money will enable the McCabe Educational Trust to meet its regular commitment to support The Jeel al Amal Boys Home in Bethany, The Al Shurooq Blind School in Bethlehem and the Anand Niwas Boys Home in India.
We are enormously encouraged and with your help will continue to support Christian entrepreneurs that we meet on pilgrimage.

Pilgrimage & the McCabe Educational Trust
The McCabe Educational Trust is committed to making a difference to the lives of inspirational people that we meet on pilgrimage.
In Jerusalem we have built a solid partnership with the inspirational Christian people running Jeel al Amal, Al Shurooq and the Bethlehem Rehabilitation Centre. The money we contribute is sent as regular payments giving a degree of budgetary security in a very uncertain world.
The biggest source of our income is from pilgrims who visit these projects as part of their pilgrimage itinerary. Having seen the need, many go on to raise funds for the Trust in their local communities.
It is our hope that the success of our walk will inspire similar and different fund-raising efforts to help us sustain our level of support.
