Travelling Alone
Many of our passengers travel alone and are willing to share a twin room. We accept a limited number of bookings on a 'guaranteed share' basis. We charge the basic price and accommodate you with a person of the same sex also requesting shared accommodation. If a share is not found then we will add the single supplement to the final invoice.
The McCabe Educational Trust
The McCabe Educational Trust is an independent registered charity which was set up in 1991 to support Christian communities. To date the Trust has distributed more than £4 million in grants. The Trust raises money by inviting all our travellers to make an optional £20 donation at the time of booking. All money given in this way is given in full to the projects the Trust supports. This scheme is voluntary and confidential with nobody put under any pressure to participate. This is very worthwhile charity and if you would like to know more look at the Trust’s website which give details of its work at www.mccabe-travel.co.uk/mccabe-educational-trust/
Full Financial Security
All money paid to McCabe is fully secure. Holidays including flights are covered by our ATOL license from the Civil Aviation Authority, and holidays without flights are protected by our membership of the ABTOT bonding scheme. If a pilgrimage is cancelled, for instance through lack of numbers or for political considerations, McCabe will promptly refund all monies paid.
