Pilgrimage to Fátima 2027 – 4 days

Journey to the heart of one of the world’s great Marian shrines — where Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children with a message of prayer and peace for the whole world.

In May 1917, on a quiet hillside at Fátima, Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children — Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta — entrusting to them a message of prayer, penance and peace. More than a century on, pilgrims still come in their millions to pray at the Chapel of the Apparitions, to walk where the children walked, and to join the candlelit Rosary that fills the great Sanctuary each evening. In this special 110th Anniversary month, that devotion is more moving than ever.

Led by Fr Kevin Moule, this gentle four-day pilgrimage is thoughtfully paced, fully supported and unhurried — with ample time for personal prayer, daily Mass and quiet reflection. Whether this is your first pilgrimage or a long-held hope finally fulfilled, you will find Fátima a place of profound peace.

Itinerary

  1. Travel to Fátima

Meet your Airport Representative and fly from London to Lisbon. On arrival you will be met for the scenic coach transfer to Fátima (around two hours), where you check in to your comfortable hotel. After time to settle, gather for a welcome dinner together.
  2. Fátima, Valinhos & Aljustrel

This morning, enter the very heart of the Sanctuary: the Chapel of the Apparitions, marking the spot where Our Lady appeared, and the great Basilicas. At the Fátima Museum, see the crown of Our Lady that holds the bullet from the 1981 attempt on the life of St John Paul II. We continue to Valinhos for some free time, with the chance to walk the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra, and to Aljustrel, the home village of the three shepherd children. The rest of the afternoon is free for private devotion, with the opportunity to pray the Rosary at the Chapel of the Apparitions before joining the optional evening Candlelight Procession.
  3. Fátima & the Life of Christ

After breakfast, your tour manager leads a visit to the Wax Museum and the remarkable Life of Christ Museum, whose lifelike scenes trace the Gospel from the Annunciation to the Ascension. The afternoon is free for quiet prayer and reflection, with the opportunity to join the 15:30 English Mass at the Little Chapel and, in the evening, the optional Candlelight Procession and Rosary in the Sanctuary — for many, the most moving moment of all.

  4. Farewell & Homeward

Enjoy a final breakfast before your transfer to Lisbon for the homeward flight — with the opportunity to join a public Mass before you leave, flight times permitting. You return carrying the peace of Fátima and the gentle message of Our Lady: to pray, and to trust.
