McCabe Educational Trust

The McCabe Educational Trust (MET) was set up in 1991 to give structure to our support for the Christian communities that we meet on pilgrimage. We are humbled at the way pilgrims have responded, and to date the MET has distributed more than four million pounds in grants.

Getting to know the Living Stones of the Holy Land is an integral part of every McCabe itinerary. A pilgrimage might include Sunday worship with a local congregation, a visit to the Jeel al Amal Boys Home and lunch at the Bethlehem Rehabilitation Centre. Our visits give encouragement and practical assistance to a community which now numbers less than 3% of the population of the Holy Land.

We invite all travellers to become partners in this work. A optional donation to the MET’s work is added to each invoice and all money raised is given in full to the projects the MET supports. This is a voluntary scheme and nobody is put under any pressure to participate.

The McCabe Educational Trust is a registered charity with an independent Board of Directors. No deductions are made for the charity’s administration as all running costs are paid by McCabe Pilgrimages.
