This year the McCabe Educational Trust used its available resources to increase aid to our partners in the Holy Land. We are appealing to our supporters this Christmas to help us go the extra mile and light up their Christmas at this most difficult time.

We are joining the Christian community in Bethlehem to help distribute 500 food parcels to families in desperate need. We have promised a minimum £15,000 contribution and appeal for your help to fulfil this commitment.

On a sad note, Najwa Sahhar, the inspirational Director of Jeel al Amal school and Boys Home in Bethany passed away on Friday 14 November. We can report that the smooth running of the school remains in the very capable hands of Najwa’s colleagues.

So in addition, we are appealing to our supporters this Christmas to be part of a gift to Jeel to help them through this transition period. Any funds raised over and above the £15,000 for the food parcels will be sent to Jeel.

All gifts, large or small, make a significant difference and will be sent in full, with no deductions as McCabe Travel covers all administration costs.

For the past two years, we partnered with the Shepherd Society at Bethlehem Bible College to make sure that we were able to target local families who needed help the most. One recipient last year said;

“Thank you for thinking of my family, you came at the right time,
it has been a tough month and Christmas is approaching and we are
longing for Peace in the land of Peace”
