Dr Graham’s Homes in Kalimpong
McCabe’s have a long association with Dr. Graham’s Homes, a wonderful school magnificently situated in the Himalayan foothills of India. Rev George McCabe was Farm Manager here when his son Alistair was born. The McCabe family maintain their link with the Homes through the McCabe Educational Trust. An orchard funded by the Trust was planted in Memory of George and is now providing fruit for the children and two boys, Jason and Bruno, are being supported through their education. Over the years McCabe travellers have often included a visit to the homes on their itinerarary.
The Homes rely on voluntary support and there is a British committee working hard to publicise the need.
