URGENT Appeal

The good news from the MET is that despite the ongoing pandemic, we managed to send £180,000 to our partner projects this year — thanks to the fantastic support from McCabe travellers and Trust supporters.

We have decided that in 2022 we must maintain our quarterly grants to Jeel al Amal in Bethany (where we want to help establish a new kindergarten) and to Al Shurooq in Bethlehem. We plan to increase our support of Dadhuwa school in Nepal (where a major renovation project is underway) and in India, as well as looking after our sponsored children at Dr Grahams Homes, we would like to send additional help for essential infrastructure repairs.  We would also like to respond positively to urgent requests from the Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation, the Princess Basma Hospital on the Mount of Olives and the Holy Land Institute for the Deaf in Salt in Jordan.

Please would you consider helping us at this time? Your donation will support our partner projects at a time when their need is greater than ever.

In 2020 we dared to ask for £85,000 to honour what we had promised for 2021; and you sent us £90,000!  Although we are ready for travel to resume soon, these are still uncertain times, and so we are appealing for your support to help us maintain the grants to our key partner projects at the current level, or higher.

You can send a cheque or CAF voucher to the McCabe Educational Trust at 11 Hillgate Place, London SW12 9ER.

There you can also find out how to become a regular donor with a Standing Order, which makes our planned giving much more secure.

Thank you for your continued support.
