TRAVEL INSURANCE The McCabe recommended policy
We offer a tailor-made insurance policy in conjunction with all McCabe holidays. The basic premium is payable by ALL travellers. There are no age supplements and there is no upper age limit for cover. Current Premiums for holidays up to 13 days in duration are £29 for holidays in Europe and £49 for holidays in the Middle East.
Our policy has been arranged by Preferential Insurance Services Limited, and is underwritten by Optimum Underwriting Limited as Underwriting Agent og Groupama Insurance Company Limited. It is a Single Trip Policy offering emergency medical expenses cover, protection against cancellation charges, and numerous other covers.
An important condition of cover is that any pre-existing conditions must be declared in advance by calling the Optimum Medical Helpline on 0870 423 1281.
You may be asked to pay a premium for additional cover or you may choose to exclude any pre-existing conditions from cover. If in doubt, please call the Helpline for advice. Please ask us for a copy of the Policy Booklet, the Policy Summary, and our Terms of Business if you wish to see one or all of the documents before purchase, but all of these documents will be sent to you with your Invoice if you purchase our insurance.

TRAVEL INSURANCE-Annual Multi-trip and other policies
There are hundreds of travel insurance policies to choose from and all we ask is that McCabe travellers are insured. If you are aged under 55, Preferential may be able to offer you a better priced, or annual policy through their website. If you have pre-existing medical conditions, a specialist insurer such as Saga or Free Spirit may offer better value. Do shop around.
