Over the years we have followed the interests of the founders of McCabe and enjoyed some wonderful experiences together. The attached slide show gives a glimpse of nostalgic days when the Revd George McCabe and the Revd James Currie led parties to India meeting up with local Christian communities and encountering the real India with visits to remote villages. Our association with Dr. Graham’s Homes in Kalimpong remains strong from these early days.
This tradition continues with the Revd Bob Jackson travelling regularly to Kathmandu and the areas around. One of these visits led to the McCabe Educational Trust funding the building of a school in the remote Nepalese village of Daduwa, which we still keep in touch with. Last year’s journey to Bhutan is followed up this year with a visit to Tibet. The full programme of this journey can be seen below.
Other areas where we feel we can confidently arrange programmes with a very personal content include Russia, Georgia and Armenia.
